A book lover’s dream of meeting authors, having fun, and talking all things books.

Founded by a book lover, Bee, (@bees.glorious.reads on Instagram) has a passion for all things bookish. The desire to support indie authors and traditional authors runs deep in their core. With a background of ten+ years in the events industry, their goal is to host a fun, inclusive, diverse, unique, and exciting Bookish Fest for authors and readers. Bee is based out of Minnesota and wants to bring a fun, exciting, and unique bookish event to the Midwest.

They are currently works with an avid team of other book lovers with various backgrounds that are assisting them in putting all of this together. Some are local and some are from other states. They help with the backbone of the event and the little bits and pieces of the event. Midwest Bookish Fest is entirely ran by book lovers! We’re fans of all things bookish, from indie authors to traditional authors ranging in every genre. We’re hoping to be more than just a signing event. We want to provide financially stress free options to our authors and vendors, while staying inclusive and supportive of our attendees.
